The pond project – Stage 1

Back in 2007, before I moved to Nashville, I had a lovely little pond with pretty goldfish. When I moved away I had to give the fish to my sister and remove the pond. I've been back here for almost 16 mos. and have really been missing my pond and the fishies - so the "Pond Project" began last weekend. I am re-locating the pond on the advice of a Feng Shui friend, Krista. My previous location was not in the most favorable position and needed to be moved to the left into my "wealth" area. If effort is relative to reward, I figure I'll probably win the lottery! Following are the pics from last Sat. and Sun.

Using a pulley system and my crevasse rescue training to move the big rock from point "A"...

to point "B"...do you really believe that worked? I moved it about 2 inches! Found a big strong guy who moved it like it was nothing – nice to see someone will still help just for a smile and a glass of iced tea. (and, yes, I did try to pay him – and, no, I didn't get his picture, but he was cute!)
