The Weather Channel's "Cantore Stories" episode about the Mt. Washington Observatory finally aired last Saturday & Sunday nights. Why do I care? I am heading there for a week this summer to volunteer as “chief cook and bottle washer” at the weather observatory. WHY you ask? I love the mountains, cooking and crazy weather. A whole week of hanging out with meteorologists is just too cool... at least to me. Plus I plan to enjoy some serious hiking and am looking forward to meeting Marty, the black Maine Coon cat in residence.
