The first fully open amaryllis bloom made its appearance in my front flower bed today. A nice neighbor gave me a pile of these bulbs a few years ago and they keep coming back every year. At their peak I'll probably have 40 - 50 bright red blooms all at once. Check back in a couple of weeks for the full display.

It's amaryllis time!
The first fully open amaryllis bloom made its appearance in my front flower bed today. A nice neighbor gave me a pile of these bulbs a few years ago and they keep coming back every year. At their peak I'll probably have 40 - 50 bright red blooms all at once. Check back in a couple of weeks for the full display.
